Here are a few tips to make your workout safe:
- Warm-up before each session. Working cold muscles can lead to injury.
-During your sessions, a good stretch should last between 15 and 30 seconds.
-Don't bounce when you stretch. Bouncing can cause tears in the muscle fibers. The pressure exerted during stretching must remain constant.
- When stretching, stop pushing your muscles when you feel slight discomfort. Stretching should not be painful.
